Read a synopsis of the upcoming book, “Dragon Central” below:
Introducing Green Flash Green Flash, mischievous miniature green dragon, was determined “help” a troubled eleven year old boy, Domingo (Ding) Diaz. Well, that was the plan; but Flash, though big-hearted, is a magnet for trouble (picture Santa Claus meets a really small-scaled Godzilla). When Ding, preoccupied by his troubles, steps in front of a bus, Flash transports him from harm’s way to Dragon Central—a planet in the same position as Earth in a parallel universe. The plan is to return Ding to Earth after the danger passes. But a big wingless guardian dragon instantly tries to kill Ding as soon as the boy appears. Humans (except for an ancient tribe of Sumerians already there) are not allowed on Dragon Central. His job is to keep further humans out. But Ding runs he wrong way and keeps Ding stuck there. In trying to escape back to Earth starting he keeps running into one mess after another: escaping the anger of the guardian dragon; dealing with cannibalistic Droods, where he rescues a captured Sumerian girl; and strolling off with a dragon egg he thinks is just a pretty rock and angering a wingless fire-breather female dragon who accuses him of stealing it…well, he is in trouble. When the egg hatches and the baby dragon does not go to its mother but bonds to a the girl. For having “stolen” a dragon egg he was in deep dragon doo-doo. In the end, in order to live (forget getting back home), he has to do is solve four riddles. But they are doozies—real doozies.
